And this is for apartment in high (or low) rise, not for townhouse?

Chongqing had 40years on flats!
Highrise = 8 Floors or more - with elevator = Projects.
Lowrise = 7 Floors or less - no elevator
Townhouse = villa - too expensive.
Yes, I was talking about lowrise apartments (2 Redbooks) in both cases. I would never buy a house in the projects.
@alien @janjal it's maybe true the people I know have usually lived in Kunming for a couple generations (especially family as they go back past my wife remembers), hence as janjal says probably had to make way at some stage.
@ redjohn: Could be, but I doubt if most of those who have had to make way have managed to get 2 flats instead of one, so I'm not sure how this might work. Perhaps individual members of a large family simply refer to the flats of other family members as 'theirs', thanks to the family-centered individual identity syndrome?
I suppose with the large family thing that probably happens :)
Some might see that 'family-centered individual identity syndrome' as a burden in China but I kind of like it. It feels....quaint? Maybe wrong word lol
