I'm staying in the south of Kunming near Guangfu Road and I'd like to know is there an English corner in south Kunming? Or is there any place to speak English here?

Are there any English speakers in the south? Is the south so horrible that scare "laowai" away? Just feel isolated here and wondering if I'd better move...

What is meant by 'the South' of Kunming? When I think of 'the South', I think of the area from the train station south. A bit confusing.

@MonExodus. I think we both live in the same housing development.

@tigertiger. Ah ha! To my memory, I came across once one 'laowai' in my residence - at that time he was walking thru the garden with a decent lady, then had some chat with him some one year ago. I assume he must be you! :)
