Does anyone know a way to download Tudou vids? There is some great stuff that would help a lot with learning Chinese.

You can dowbload their app. They have a dowbload button.

They have an application that allow this.

Thx gentlemen. pardon my ignorance but is an app a phone thing I should use? How can I do this on my laptop? My Hanzi are terrible so if u could tell me like "on the main page there is a button in the top right hand of screen" or something like that?

I'm confused wasn't tudou just a website to watch vids on as I have? What does this installation give you?

All versions(smartphone or desktop) allow you to download to watch later. There's a download button. Just look for 下载 (download). Tudou, Youku, PPTV, etc.
