There is a swingset in our complex but no swings, and my kids love swinging, so I am looking in town for a place that sells the swings for toddlers (not the open ones, but the ones kids don't fall out of). Does anyone know a place selling them (besides taobao)?

That has got to be a taobao order. I have never seen that kind of harness seat on any open playground in China. I have seen it at amusement parks.

Maybe you can take some other existing child seat and adapt it for your xiaoqu swing?

I just know there is a big playground for kids in Wild Duck Lake Park, North East Kunming, where kids can swing, climbing, sliding, playing seesaw etc.

But it is a bit far away from Green lake city center.

I have been that park with my friends six years ago, but I think there are not many changes in that Park.
I remember we took 235 bus on Greenlake bus stop opposite to the south gate of the green lake park, and when the bus went to the Golden Temple bus station, we got off the bus and got on 147 bus to Wild Duck Lake bus stop.
After arriving at the wild duck lake bus stop, we walked for maybe half an hour to the park where kids played in.
It was a bit far away journey and took us nearly 4 hours on bus.

In Rongjin residential Quarter, at a cross of Jiaowu Alley and Jiaoyi Road in north Kunming, there are two little swing sets for the kids who lives there, but some kids out of the residential quarter also visit their with their parents and kids.
