olympus OM-D EM-1
sony a7s

but there's no way my casual photography would justify buying a high-end camera like this.

Magnifico, that is a good assessment. Many professional photographers, some of them famous for their art, are moving from DSLR Canons to Fujifilm X-T1.

they're not as bulky as DSLRs.
