I'd like to buy the new Huawei Ascend P7, but I can't find a store in Kunming! Even though it's a Chinese phone and most Chinese I know have heard of Huawei, they have no idea where I can buy that phone... Is there anyone out there who knows a Huawei store in Kunming? I don't want to buy on Taobao since the last phone I've bought was off Taobao and it was quite crappy! Thanks a lot!!

Try China Mobile/China Telecom your own mobile service providers outlets.
Failing that, try Carrefour, Walmart, Gome and there are areas full of mobile phone vendors. There is a street full on HuanChengDong Lu (E Ring Rd), Between Renmin Donglu (E Renmin Rd) and Dongfangdong Lu (E DongFang Rd), as well as a phone mall on the crossroads at RenminDongLu and HuanchengDongLu.
