Saturday 11th October 2014 - Sweatshop’s first China mini tour arrives in Kunming with the return of Sweatshop’s favourite soul-child Dave Owen.

Indianapolis based Dave Owen is known for his liquid funk and soulful sensibility, and has been a key player in defining liquid state-side drum and bass in recent years. He blends hip-hop and old soul samples w/ crisp drums to create a sound that is truly unique. His "Yo Girl" on Fabio's Creative Source imprint received critical praise and has been named One of the Top 5 Unreleased Tracks of 2014 by the authoritative drum’n’bass magazine KMAG, calling it a ‘musical masterpiece’.

The supporting lineup includes Sweatshop residents Sword and Siesta plus dmc-wiz-kid-cum-junglist-soldier DJ MONK. Expect all the best, upfront, and soulful drum’n’bass, all night.
