Friday July 4th, Swedish-born, London-based electronic artist, Blende will descend upon Kunming for fully fledged house-disco/electro-rock mayhem.

Blende’s sound is a lovely confluence of Daft Punk, Justice, and MSTRKRFT, weaving house rhythms, soulful refrains, disco rock, and jumpy bass lines into an infectious robot-funk that feels both retro and futuristic. It’s 1980, 2080 and a little in between.

In terms of credibility, he’s got plenty of that, with associated acts including Felix da Housecat, Mr. Oizo, Wofgang Gartner, Skrillex, Dada Life, and many more. Blende most recently put out his killer Paramount EP, and is even more well known for some serious jams like “Fake Love” and “Rikki,” just dripping with neon groove.

It’s near impossible to hear Blende and not move. Futuristic and retro lovers, it's all your moves combined into one sound.
