One of the pioneers of the early Beijing reggae scene Jussrock has also been active in the reggae scenes of The Netherlands as well as all over China as DJ, musician, and producer. At home in all styles of reggae, it is his musical mission to showcase the very best of the old and new and to bless up di dance with bass-heavy selections guaranteed to keep the crowd moving.

His bio is about meaningful as a 16-year-old's C.V but he has been playing Reggae, Dub, and Dancehall all over Kunming since 2011!

Ranking 周 just missed out on DJ magazine's Top 1000 DJs (Kunming version).

Why reggae? It's an expression of hope in suffering, of defiance to oppression, and positivity in troubled times. But also in the rich tradition of Mento and Calypso, it features social commentary, humor, and sometimes a cheeky bit of bawdy 'slackness'.
