【Yunnan, Diqing, Trekking in Meili Snow Mountain】

Meili Snow Mountain is located in Yunnan Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Kawakarpo, the peak of Meili, is one of the most sacred mountains for Tibetan Buddhism.

Before setting off to walk around the mountain with Buddhist pilgrims, we will experience a ritual called "Weisang", the burning of incense sticks to augur a good journey.

Along the planned trekking route, there will be spectacular natural scenery to enjoy, as well as Tibetan Mani stones.

Overnights stops will be with local Tibetan families.

14th January: set out from Kunming

18th January: return to Kunming

Fee: 1500 yuan/person, including food, accommodation, and transportation.
