The best way to learn about a city is to get to know its people and its history. At City Walks, organized by Tuo Feng Outdoor Club, we'll show you a fascinating, hidden side to Kunming, by：

• Visiting the former homes of famous people
• Recalling Kunming’s key role in the Second World War
• Exploring the rich architectural heritage of the Republican era (1912-1949).

• Tasting authentic local cuisine

Let us guide you on many varied paths through Kunming’s unique history. We are not just another travel agency that will take you round the usual sightseeing spots. On our walks you’ll hear intriguing stories and details about Kunming that you would never find in a guide book or brochure.

You’ll also get a chance to practice your Chinese, at whatever level you are, and make friends with local people. And it’s great opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture, especially the vibrant culture of Kunming and Yunnan.

We meet at the south gate of Yunnan University at 19:30 p.m.

The cost is 30 RMB per person(excluding snacks – we go Dutch for that). Please note, we need at least four people to make the walks viable.
