After a Spring Festival 'holiday' that went on for much longer than we anticipated — thanks to the Covid-19 virus — we are happy to announce that many businesses are once again opening their doors to customers. Service may be limited to takeaway, business hours might be different, so here is a handy list to direct you back to your favorite places. This has been a difficult time for entrepreneurs and customers alike so let's hope we will soon enjoy a vibrant wining and dining scene in Kunming once again.

Some bars have opened again but clubs and museums will be closed until further notice. When they reopen we'll update the article and include their operating times.

There are rules that establishments must follow in order to welcome guests:

— Everyone must scan the QR code upon entering and leaving
— Everyone must have their temperature checked
— Everyone must wear a mask when not eating or drinking
— There will be limited seating at tables and tables must be at least one meter apart
