Friday: All-you-can-eat barbecue at Sandra's
The grill will be fired up at Sandra's Friday night for another night of all-you-can-eat barbecue featuring ostrich, sausages, striploin steaks and lamb chops plus oven-baked herbed potatoes and salad for 160 yuan/person.

Friday: Couchsurfing meeting at Moondog
Moondog will once again host a Couchsurfing gathering Friday night at 9, with Tsingtao and Beerlao on special for 10 and 16 yuan, respectively. Entry is free.

Friday: Shelter re-opening party
After being a Counterstrike theme bar for a few years, Shelter Bar is back and will be celebrating its reopening Friday night with one free gin and tonic for all ladies plus tunes by DJs Fat Cat and Lai Ke. For those who remember the old Shelter, the underground portion of the bar is currently closed, but there is a big new outdoor beer garden upstairs. Party starts at 8, entry is free.

Friday: Electro Operating Room at The Club
DJs Maxi and LowSine will provide auditory stimulation accompanied by VJ PiXy's visual cocktails Friday night at The Club. Special tequila will be served in a "secret container" for 10 yuan/glass. We're not really sure what that means, but it probably makes dancing easier. Party starts at 10, entry is free.

Saturday: Dangsters Summer Show at Nanping Jie
Dangsters Dance Studio will put on a summer student show Saturday at Nanping Jie Square featuring hundreds of its students on a big stage from morning until evening. In addition to dance shows there will also be games, a dance competition and more.

Saturday: Live music and DJ at Wenlin Memory
Wenlin Memory will host a night of live music with minority musician Shepherd (牧羊人) and Qingfeng Band (青峰) followed by DJ Shitou from Russia. Music starts at 9, entry is free.

Saturday: DJ Night at The Box
The lovely DJ Susu will provide tunes Saturday night at The Box. The bar will feature free cocktails and new snacks. Party begins 9ish, entry is free.

Saturday: Ganesh closing party
Ganesh Bar & Restaurant is going to close its doors for good, but not before having one last blowout. The Sea Loving Mammals will provide music and all drinks will be discounted 20 percent. Party starts at 9:30, entry is free.

Chinese Halloween party at Shelter Bar
Shelter will host a Chinese Halloween party Sunday night at 8 with DJs Fat Cat and Lai Ke. Costumes/fancy dress are welcome, props will be provided. Entry is free.
