Yunnan's Tengchong County, famed for its rustic beauty, volcanoes and hot springs, will start construction on a new airport in January.
The airport will be located in Tuofeng village, 12 kilometers from Tengchong County. The airport will be known as the Hump Airport (驼峰机场) to commemorate the air route used by Allied forces in western China during WWII.
