    • just went for the Wednesday all-you-can-eat night. i wasn't really there to do it up, but it's great value if you're ready to do some serious eating. for me, getting a side salad (it's part of the deal) was a nice touch, as it allowed me to feel i was eating healthier than just (hedge)pigging out on pizza. which i was. but i digress.

the red sauce has improved since the last time i went, though maybe there was a wee bit too much of it. pizza base is a bit soggy in the middle (maybe due to the aforementioned sauciness), but was crispy and tasty towards the edges. the tables are still annoying wobbly. no complaints on the amount of topping. the cheese seemed to break up a lot, and while i have my theories, i think the subtleties of the physics of cheese when exposed to heat might actually be beyond me. oh (getting picky now,) the napkins were a little flimsy: serious pizza eating can get messy.

service was without a doubt the best i've experienced at 'Bones: friendly, smily, attentive to the point of sneaking quietly upstairs to see if i needed anything, clearly spoken (my Kunminghua ain't so hot). there was even a gentle attempt to take more money off of me - being a capitalist roader, i consider being asked "would you like to order anything else?" something of a plus.

      加油!

    • ordered a pizza the other night.

it took the guy two hours to arrive, and when he finally did he didn't have a clue how much the order cost.....nor did he have a cell phone to call someone who did, nor did he have any idea how much the delivery fee was.

ended up having to get online, show him the prices, negotiate a delivery fee...........the whole thing took about half an hour.......where do you get these space cadets?

      i'd give the pizza about a 4 outta 10

    • WeiXue is a good example of a person who doesn't know what he wants. If u aren't sure then don't post anything. It's better.

    • I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Elliot and his crew.

I ordered 15 pizzas to be delivered for a party and they all arrived with no problems and Elliot even threw in an extra pizza for free.

Thanks for making my party a big hit!

    • I tried a few weeks ago the all you can eat deal: some great pizzas and fresh salad for an unbeatable price!!

I went back last week; they've just added some new flavor pizzas on their wednesday menu that will make your jaw drop to the floor...
It became my get-away-from-noodles-and-rice moment and I'll surely go back...

    • Sure, there is room for improvement, but not bad for a first year business.

    • We just had a 16 inch pepperoni and onion delivered and it was the best pizza I've tried in Kunming till now. It was still warm (as opposed to the one we got last time), baked to perfection and you could actually both see and taste the cheese. Dammit,, this is gonna ruin my Only-eat-"Western"-food-once-a-month intention. It made me wanna call back and congratulate the cook asking him to do it exactly the same way next time.

    • I went to the all-you-can eat pizza this past week and was impressed. Unlimited hot-from-the-oven pizzas and fresh green salads. Yum. I hope to go back again soon.

    • The pizza is quite good and, more importantly, the drink prices are the lowest I've seen in Kunming.

    • Last Wednesday a group of us went to the all-you-can-eat pizza for 25yuan, per person, at Lazy Bones in ThinkUK.

      It was absolutely wonderful!
The pizzas were tasty, the crust was perfect, and the service was excellent!

We could order a variety of pizzas and they were served hot and with ample toppings.

We all left full and happy and we will certainly be going back on many Wednesday evenings.

It was also nice to have outside seating to enjoy the beautiful evening.

    • For a restaurant that was really empty, it took them quite a while to make our food. They do have some unique dishes (mozzarella eggplant sandwich, zucchini sticks), and it's always fun to try new places, but not sure I'll go back. Although I do want to try the mozzarella sticks, so maybe I will! Or I'll just order them to my apartment when it's rainy and I'm feeling very lazy...

The delivery service for foreign restaurants (such as Salvador's) is a great idea, but maybe just stick with that???
