Is there a good area or district in Kunming to purchase a used van? What might be the price range I'll be looking at for a beat down JinBei or some other micro bus.

There are some good areas to buy used vehicles but dont expect a good deal.

In China used vehicles are maintained as well as bathrooms!! And they are selling for a premium, just like the houses...

Unless you are capable of repairing all the micky mouse problems you buy with your used vehicle I suggest new..

I specialize in the 4x4 jeeps in china, I know what to look for and how to completly rebuild...

I can help if you decide on a micro van.. but if you kayak I suggest 4x4
