yes, I known there's one in 官南大道, that's at the south of 2nd ring road. better to have a Chinese to go with, otherwise the bargain may not be favourable.

or you could search on the web to buy directly from owner if your Chinese up to it or with some language help.

Fogdear, the used market in China is a sellers market, so many customers buying crap and they dont know it .
So many "first timers" buying cars oblivious to the serious problems of the car, as a result of the driving style of the previous owner.

The sellers will say anything and dont care cuz if you dont buy it the others will buy it.

It's crazy..
Most chinese dont know shit about mechanics and buy the prettiest, styleish thing out there.. you know how they are, like sheep.
I suggest buying new.... or .... I can suggest what to avoid buying....

after looking around today I found out that each company will have Chinese made and imported. So Nissan has a Chinese made car that is far cheaper than the import, however there's only a 2 year warranty (so it must be crap). It also seems, just from my experience today, that not every dealer has the same models?

I've seen the Kia Sorento all over town, but have yet to find a place that sells them. The imported Kia dealer said all their cars have a 5 year warranty. We're looking into an SUV or SUV-ish type of vehicle. Any suggestions? So far, Kia has the most reasonable prices for the imports.

Try to choose a model that has been in production a few years, this way you can find out if there is a reoccuring problem in the model.
Most Japanese cars are made from chinese made parts from jap management.

My favorite wat the suzuki jimny 4x4 or zotye 2wd or 4wd.
