Apparently, there will be a new law in China forbidding Chinese women to marry foreigners. However, Chinese men can still marry foreign women. The law will come into effect in 2018. Grab a Chinese wife while you can.

That could be something to do with the gender unbalance caused by the selective abortions. I don't know how it can be enforced if people can go out of country to get married.

I think it also has to do with the influx of black Africans marrying Chinese. My wife told me that the government is not liking this at all. This is one way to stop it though they can get married outside of China if they really love each other. Who would have thought that marrying a Chinese woman would be such a prize.
